Company – Profile

The company started out in 1970 when it developed its first workshop-store in Nea Smyrni Attica.
From its very first steps, its operations were pioneering; producing and selling wholesale fresh dough products to bakeries and closed markets. This innovative business move established the company in the food services sector and in combination with the high quality of its products it managed to develop a large commercial network in the prefecture of Attica.
In 1997 the second generation transferred the company’s production plant to Alimos, Attica, renaming it “DORIKON”, a word which suggests the common origin of its owners from the land of Arcadia. In this new space, where the company is now located, new technology was introduced in the production of dough products and modern rules of hygiene were adopted by the company’s specialized personnel. Finally a complete change was made in the range of products and the company now produces frozen dough products.
Since 2005 it has been operating under the leadership of Nikolaos Emm. Soursos, Chairman and CEO and the son of the company’s founder.
Having expanded its client base in the country, the ultimate goal of DORIKON SA is the continuous improvement of products and services and covering the food services sector in a multifaceted and responsible manner.
